About the ultimate Soul Man
Leroy Brown
Leroy is in his mid fifties and comes from Derby in the midlands & lives in Llanelli South Wales.
Leroy schooled in Derby before joining the army in 1975
1st Battalion Worcester
and Sherwood Foresters Regiment
where he was for 12 years.
“On leaving the army I went into the financial world for a while but never liked it,
so went into roofing and then into the water industry for around 15 years.
Leaving the water industry in 1998 I took on two pubs in derby till 2001
until I left due to a serious illness.
I moved to Lanzarote in February 2002 and and stayed for many years, establishing myself as one of the top karaoke entertainers on the island.
“I am now an entertainer & live in Llanelli, South Wales.
My work includes… major holiday parks across the UK, including parks such as Trecco Bay in Porthcawl, holiday parks in Tenby, Aberystwyth, North Wales, Isle Of White, & the East and South coast of the UK.
My work also includes corporate events across the country, not forgetting weddings & private functions.
Work for the M.O.D & entertaining for the Royal British Legion across the UK, of which I am proud to say, as I am an ex-soldier with 12 yrs service.
Social clubs & smaller venues can also be accommodated within my show.
My P.A consists of: 2 x 500 watt Maui 28 tube speakers,

As an entertainer Leroy offers a varied selection of Soul Classics from the late 50s right through to the 80s. With his dynamic gravelly voice, Leroy is often told he is perfect for the songs he sings.
Leroy sings songs in his set from old classic artistes like Barry White, The Drifters, The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Stylistics, Al Green, Chi-Lites, Hot Chocolate, The Platters, Otis Redding, Sammy Davis Jnr, to the up tempo sounds of Jimmy James & the Vagabonds, The Tramps, The Tamms, Harold Melvin & the Bluenotes, New York City, Wilson Pickett, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cook & The Real Thing.
Then also adds some Reggae with Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs, UB40, Ken Booth & Johnny Nash followed by the ballads,
you can smooch away the night to Lionel Richie, The Commodores, Billy Paul, George Benson, Luther Vandross & Larry Graham
As you can see, Leroy has a varied selection of songs to cater for all types of Soul fanatics, with more than 4 hours of Sweet Soul Music to choose from.
